Halloween

This year we all got dressed up. Some of our friends had cool Avatar outfits. Carving the pumpkins was fun for David and Lucy. Joe had no interest at all. In fact he cried when I tried to have him help me clean the small one out. My surgery did not happen due to a bad sinus infection. So bad I couldn't sleep for 48 hrs. We spent Tuesday night in the ER, my home away from home. So They did a CT scan. Then it was all drugs and sleep for me! It felt like I was floating out in the Ocean. So Halloween was fun after all. David took the kids around the block while I passed out candy. Not many lights were on and that was disappointing but our 2 got enough candy. It was just fun dressing up and hearing them say Trick or Treat. Joe was a samurai and Lucy a cow girl. We also finger painted sugar cookies. Joe really liked the frosting. Happy Halloween everyone. We are looking forward to a much less eventful month. Now where did we hid that candy again???

Football

Football season has officially started! Joe joined a game with Mom and Dad on Columbus Day and would not give up the ball for anything. He carried the ball up the stairs and down the slide and everywhere he went. A boy and his ball.
He can't wait to play ball with Paw paw & his uncles!!

Still Alive

We are stuck in Okinawa! I just had lip surgery and am scheduled to have hand surgery to fix nerve damage done by the good nurses. Hopefully my husband (David for the time being) will be understanding and let me rent ten chick flicks to watch for the week while I recover. The hard part will be spanking with my left hand instead of my right. Any who I think that holding my right hand up in a cast will add to the pregnant nun costume. Will be sure to post pictures of the kids. Mata Ashta, That's Okinawan for see you later.

Geo Beach Cache

Well we finally found a geo cache! We went to the beach this week with the kids and a few extra(Lexi and Devin).
Davids co -worker Chris joined us as well. Okinawa is full of surprises and beautiful beaches. Celeste and Joseph enjoyed playing on the sand and a little bit in the water. We ended up wandering into some cool caves. Afterwards the kids slept very well...almost to well for a nap. I think you should all try Geo Cacheing. We have been here almost 3 years and are starting to discover lots of places we never knew where here. What a fun day!
